Harrington Considers Pros & Cons of a Certified Local Government
The Town of Harrington, along with the Harrington Public Development Authority and the Harrington Opera House Society are hosting a workshop on the pros and cons of becoming a Certified Local Government (CLG) for the purpose of historic preservation.

The Harrington community is dedicated to the preservation of its historic buildings and wants to learn more about available tax incentives and grants for historic preservation. Megan Duvall from the Washington State Department of Archaeology and Historic Preservation will make a presentation and lead a discussion focused on the benefits and the requirements to become a Certified Local Government.

The meeting will take place at the Harrington Opera House auditorium on Thursday, May 21 at 6:00 p.m. and anyone in the region who is interested in historic preservation is welcome to attend.  Please call Pam Kelley at the Lincoln County EDC (509) 994-704 if you have questions about the meeting
