The Lincoln County EDC was formed on July 1, 2006:

EDC Services:

Facilitate countywide communication regarding economic development
Create a favorable climate for business development in the region
Help private-for-profit businesses improve and expand their capabilities
Retain and extend job opportunities
Develop new markets for area prod- ucts and services
Assist local governments in addressing public works needs that cannot be met with local funds
Market Lincoln County’s tourism and recreational opportunities
Provide a voice for the County at a state level through its partnership with the Washington State Department of Commerce.

Members also receive the EDC’s bi-monthly news-letter; notices of economic significance such as grant announcements, D.O.C. announcements, and conference reports; a certificate of membership; and tickets to the 2010 Membership Appreciation event May 21 at the historic Harrington Opera House.

The Lincoln E.D.C. is dedicated to the enhancement of Lincoln County’s economic opportunities. The E.D.C. Board of Directors wants to involve as many people and ideas as possible.

The success of the Lincoln County EDC depends on the input from the communities and businesses it was fomed to assist.
